Conveying

As technology keeps advancing on a daily basis, the need of proper conveying materials such as bulk solids or liquids from one point to another, standards and deliverables is becoming stricter than ever. The internal production supply chain has become essential to the entire business success since it can either reduce or skyrocket operational expenditures, directly affecting Cost of Goods Sold.

Various types of conveying are available in the market which have been divided into two main pillars: mechanical and pneumatic.

Mechanical conveying includes screw and chain conveyors, bucket elevators, aero-mechanical and tubular drag conveyors, belt conveyors, vibrating and so on, all of which could be manufactured in different types and shapes yet with conveying capacities ranging from few kg/hr to few hundreds tn/hr.     Pneumatic conveying on the other hand includes systems and solutions in two main categories: dense or dilute phase, both of which can be facilitated in a positive or negative pressure. Pneumatic conveying solutions are considered ideal for medium to long distances, while their small footprint, maintenance elimination, easy expandability and yet the more hygiene and sanitary design are only a few of their benefits in comparison with mechanical.

Storage

Every production company faces the challenge of storing bulk raw materials in powder or liquid form.
